I started my studies at St. Peters College in 2013 when I was in Year 7

2018 College Annual Theme

but what I do have, I give to you

What does this mean to you?

The quote “but what I do have, I give to you” means quite a lot to me and I think is a great quote to have in my final year at St. Peters College. To me it means to spread and give what you can to those less fortunate then you. Ever since year seven, we the students have been taught that giving back to people in need is one of the most pleasuring and satisfying things you can do. Through fundraising events such as caritas, St Vinnies Appeal and going to the soup kitchens we have learnt to give back because we are lucky to be born with a roof over our heads. We always try to give back as much as we can and I think this ties in greatly with the quote “but what I do have, I give to you”. This quote speaks significantly about the culture we have fostered at St Peters and will be embedded into the school for many years to come.

How will you live this statement throughout the year in your role?

This statement will be carried with me in everything I do this year. I believe that God has given me the values of what being a true leader is. He instilled servant leadership into me which I will try to spread around through my actions. What I do have us knowledge and a kind heart which I will try to spread around the College. I will give my all back to my College as it has been apart of my life for the past five years and it has taught and given me lessons that you can find no where else.

What are your goals for 2018?

For yourself in your role?

My goal as College Captain this year to make others around me leaders. Everyone is a leader with or without a title but people have trouble noticing it inside themselves. I want to empower my fellow students to be the best they can be.

For yourself as a Year 12 student?

This year as a year 12 student I just want to enjoy myself and my last year at St. Peter’s College  I want to have a great last year with my friends and look back and have no regrets

Personally?

This year, personally, I want to find more about the kind of person I am. I want to know what limits I can be pushed too and how far I can go as a person

What would you like your legacy be for St. Peter’s College?

I want to be known as the guy who made the people around him feel comfortable and happy and the person who bought good vibes where he went. I want younger students to see me as a role model and someone they can look up to

What are you immediate life ambitions and aspirations once you complete your studies at St. Peter’s College?

After my year 12 studies I want to study Commerce and Business Sport Management

What are your long term life ambitions and aspirations?

Hopefully work for an AFL club one day

In one sentence what would you like to say to your fellow students about your pride in your College?

St. Peter’s College to me is like a family, a place which I will never forget and always feel privileged to say I went to St. Peter’s College.
